This outboard powered DX 2200, has very high freeboard this creates a deeper cockpit for a drier and safer ride for you and all those aboard.
Next you’ll notice is that the bow is more squared off. This is Bayliners BeamForward™ design, where the sides of the boat remain straighter for longer before turning in, giving you more seating, storage and legroom in the bow.
A foredeck anchor locker also contains a folding bow boarding ladder. More storage is found in a cockpit in-floor locker suitable for watersports accessories. The passenger console opens to reveal a large storage compartment or change room, or you could even add a porta-potti.
The padded face of the console accommodates aft-facing lounging when the passenger seat back is folded down. This portside lounge extends L-shaped across the transom. Ample storage is found beneath all seat cushions. The backrest of the transom flips forward to accommodate aft-facing lounging on the transom sunpad.
The starboard side transom walk-through from the swim platform to the cockpit gives you easy access while boarding or bathing.
Standard USB and auxiliary 12-volt power outlets are provided at the sunpad as well.
The driver’s high-back bucket seat with forward flip-up bolster faces a functional dash with two large multi-function analog gauges for speedometer, tachometer, fuel, temperature, oil pressure, and voltmeter. She is also equipped with a separate smaller trim gauge and the in-dash digital depth sounder.
